Tottenham vs. AS Roma: Time, TV channel, live stream, squads for preseason friendly

Tottenham’s 2022/23 preseason campaign comes to an end in the Israeli city of Haifa as they take on former boss Jose Mourinho and AS Roma on July 30.

Mourinho’s exit from Spurs triggered Nuno Santo’s unsuccessful spell in charge in north London before the club eventually appointed Antonio Conte in November 2021.

The Italian coach has been heavily backed in the summer transfer window, with £90m ($108m) worth of new faces arriving at the club, ahead of the new Premier League season.

Conte’s charges have enjoyed a solid start to preseason, with two wins and a draw, compared to Mourinho’s summer return of three wins and a draw so far.

Who could feature for Tottenham and AS Roma?

Conte has looked to ease his new signings into the Tottenham starting XI during preseason with Fraser Forster, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet, Ivan Perisic and Yves Bissouma and Djed Spence all featuring.

However, with this clash serving as Spurs’ final warm up game, Conte will go with his strongest options available, with Spence and Bissouma potentially drafted in to start.

Mourinho has opted for a more frugal approach in the transfer market with his former Manchester United star Nemanja Matic and Argentine international paulo dybala both joining on free transfers.

Tottenham vs. AS Roma betting odds

With their respective preseason form almost identical in recent weeks it is difficult to pick a clear favorite in this clash.

Conte’s Tottenham have the stronger squad on paper but Mourinho’s revenge record could be a key factor as he aims to offer Spurs fans a reminder of his abilities on the bench.
